Abstract

Solikowski is definitely an interesting person, although a bit forgotten in modern historiography. The article analyses his political writing, with Polish Bibliography being the basis for my study – especially the tome XXIX, made by Stanisław Estreicher. While discussing the individual works and their subsequent issues I wonder what was the most interesting in the public sphere for Solikowski? Was his journalism popular and how did it impact opinions of the general public? Simultaneously, I’m trying to outline the work of Estreicher, who gathered the information about the writings of the archbishop in a manner that is both detailed and interesting.
