Abstract

The topic of the article is the motif of the fall in Juliusz Słowacki’s "Spirit- King". The aim of the research is to answer the question: can we consider the fall of the Platonic Hero Armenian in the context of the theme of the fallen angel? The death on the stake of the royal Leader is a ceremony with the character of a rite held in a terrifying scene in the Caucasus mountains. There, amid thunder, lightning, lightning strikes and the screams of shouting witches Hero’s soul leaves his body. Then, as a result of metempsychosis, it journeys into the past and the experience of amnestic empathy in past incarnations allows it to recreate its own biography. The conclusions include an analogy of that in the fall in Milton’s "Paradise Lost", Lermontov’s "Demon", and Byron’s "Cain".
