Natalia Gałczyńska, the great love of Konstanty Ildefons, his wife, muse, lover and guardian, was for him the embodiment of the ideal of femininity. He transformed her character, making her the heroine of her poetic fairy tales, erotics, companion of suffering, poverty and The poetic image of Natalia Gałczyńska, created by her husband, is a portrait of a woman unique in poetry – a goddess, friend, mistress and mother.
