Abstract
This article is made up of two parts. The first is a discussion of Tadeusz Miciński’s text entitled Poland and Bulgaria, published in the magazine “Utro Rosii” in 1915. The researcher invokes the historical context of this sketch, explains that in the first year of the Great War, in spite of adversity, the author of Xiądz Faust, full of enthusiasm and optimism, continued to promote the idea of the unity of Slavic nations. According to Miciński, the fate of the Bulgarians was much more intertwined with the fate of the Serbs or even the Russians than the Poles. Just as the fate of the latter, whether they wanted it or not, intertwined with the fate of Russians. The second part of the article is an annex containing the Miciński’s original text and its Polish translation by Irena Shevchenko.
