Abstract

The text reviews ‚The Graphic Novels. Lexicon’, which is edited by Sebastian Jakub Konefal. It is a collection of essays and academic assessments about the history and the results of research conducted on the graphic novel, written by Polish comic researchers. The book is divided into two parts. The first section includes essays by many reputable people. While the second part of this book presents 144 albums that have had a major impact on the evolution of comics and the graphic novel. All of the authors present a wide array of all the most important topics concerned with the graphic novel.
