Abstract
The author of the article examines the cycle of Crimean-Tatars émigré lyrics, mainly from the period from the end of the 18th to the mid-19th century. The most popular thematic threads appearing in songs, but also the lexical and mood-specific characteristics of these songs, are analysed. The contexts of song creation are thoroughly explored. The text also shows a short flashback of the fixation of separate works. The conclusions are supported by quotations from songs in the original language and translated into Ukrainian.
