Abstract

The article explores and describes the methods used in creating the image of Other and the strategies of cultural dialogue. The article establishes that mythology, the archetypes of thinking and traditional values are seen by the author as the sphere of common meanings shared by different cultures. The article offers an insight into the author’s ‘Asian’ myth.
