Abstract

The article outlines the profile of the writer Halina Maria Dąbrowolska (1902–1962) and her literary archives preserved in the collections of the National Library. Her creative output includes printed works – novels and poetry volumes, drafts of literary attempts and inedita. Particular attention in the article was paid to the biography of Zofia Nałkowska entitled Portrety nieobiektywne (Biased portraits) – her character, the emerging picture of the author of Medaliony (Medallions), as well as the publisher’s negative review. The works of Halina Dąbrowolska are undoubtedly an important and interesting document of the epoch.
