Abstract

The article presents pedagogical work of Julia Kisielewska, who – as a teacher and a director at a junior high school – devoted a lot not only to her work at school, but primarily to the benefit of school. Kisielewska’s writings on pedagogical subjects propagated drafts of amendments and the position of new education. In the interwar period she often wrote about the need to reform education, about amendments to be implemented in education, and later about their results. She indicated what and how it should yet to be done in order to improve reforms, what is missing in the educational system of independent Poland, as well undertook subjects connected with reforming schools and improving education. Her then works constituted a reliable and competent voice in discussions about education, and at present we can learn about the course of the educational reform after women achieved many emancipation goals.
