Abstract

Theatre, and especially puppet theatre, occupies a special place in education of a child in area of fine arts. Children strongly remember the images of heroes from performances. New plays written for puppet theatre are published very rarely. That is why characters described in plays for children are strongly related to their theatrical images. In puppet theatre everything can be animated (puppets, forms, things, shadows), that is why the neologism “an animant” is better than “a puppet”. Theatre is a place, where literature for children changes into picture on the stage.
