Abstract
The subject of the author’s evaluation is a collective monograph about Ukrainian
modernism. This work summarizes the long-term experience in the field of researching of this art direction of Ukrainian scientists and offers a synthesis of knowledge about the national variety of modernist creativity of the 20th century. The book presents the interpretation and reinterpretation of literary texts of that period, and offers a holistic model of the development of this aesthetic trend in Ukraine. The content of the monograph presents the prospects of better understanding of the essence of the complex and dynamic process that manifested itself in the modernization of Ukrainian literature and art of the 20th century.
