Abstract

The article investigates the influence of the European symbolists on the formation of the artistically-aesthetic conception of A. Oles. The attention is concentrated to the symbolic of the sea in the poetic systems of the Ukrainian lyric and the European symbolists and its structuralsemantic role in their disposition.
