"Bibliotekarz Podlaski. The Polish National Scientific Library and Bibliological Journal" is a peer-reviewed scientific journal edited as part of the scientific activity of Książnica Podlaska, created on the basis of the popular science journal published from 2000 to 2012: "Librarian of Podlasie. Białystok - Łomża - Suwałki ". From 2017, "Librarian Podlaski" changes the frequency of publishing, transforming into a quarterly. The reference version of the "Podlasie Librarian" is the paper version.

The issues of the articles published in the "Librarian of Podlasie" concern literary studies, culture and history as well as bibliology and library science in its broad sense. The journal publishes scientific papers on the book: its creation, access, circulation, and literary, social, historical and cultural phenomena related to it.

According to the latest evaluation of the Ministry of Education and Science in 2023 the scientific journal "Bibliotekarz Podlaski" received 70 points.

"Bibliotekarz Podlaski" obtained 20 points thanks to participation in the "Wsparcie dla czasopism naukowych" program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in 2019-2020.
