Abstract

The article analyses the newest Martin Pollack’s book Topography of Remembrance. This book tackles issues present in other works of this writer. The author analyses the past of his family, try to discover the reasons for fascination with Nazism that exist in it. Topography of
Remembrance is also an attempt to point out lack of remembrance for victims of war, terror, and persecutions. The author dedicated a large part of his work to Galicia, noting the coexistence of many cultures and religions in that region.
