Abstract

The article investigates the material published on the pages of the first Belarusian legal weekly „NashaNiva” (1906-1915) about Poland and the Poles, as well as about the Belarusian-Polish figures of culture and literature. Statistical data on Polish subjects are given, the position of publishers and authors of the newspaper and the editorial policy as a whole are analyzed that allows to create an objective picture of how Poland and its nation appeared to Belarussian readers at the beginning of the XXth century.
