Abstract

In her review of the anthology Sienkiewicz Today. Essays on the Author of ‘Trilogy’ (selected by K. Augustyniak. Warsaw 2016), Barbara Szargot enumerates several flaws of the volume – for example, its illogical structure, the wrong choice of texts and its inappropriate title (or, better: the poorly defined purpose of the publication), as well as too-laconically stated target readership. At the same time, however, the critic praises high quality of the majority of the texts included.
