Abstract
The article is devoted to an innovative theory of drama, as was discussed in ‘Lessons about Juliusz Słowacki’ by Cyprian Kamil Norwid. The article describes the role and criteria of a true poet-prophet in ancient and modern times. Norwid claims that “the drama of life” or “Christian drama” gives testimony to the truth, to which every “true” writer should aspire.
