Abstract
The text confronts two versions of Zbigniew Jarosiński’s book "Nadwiślański socrealizm" ["The Vistula Land Socialist Realism"]: typed and final, printed. Both of them describe the work of the poets who did not submit to socialist realism poetics in the years 1949–1955. The author of the article tries to confirm this “opposition” diagnosis by analysing Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński’s "Olsztyn Chronicle" written in the Mazurian forester’s lodge.
