Abstract
The article considers the cycle of emigrant lyrics written from the end of the 18th century to the mid 19th century by Crimean Tatars. The author focuses on sound, lexical and emotional aspects of the analyzed texts, probing into their historical, literary and cultural contexts. The analytical part of the article is supplemented with numerous quotations from the original texts and their Ukrainian translations.
